Since Mexico hasn't been forthcoming with those checks for the Wall, some of the trumpets have rallied around the brilliant idea of pooling their own money via a GoFundMe page.

Turns out the GoFundMe page is a con, and they're funding a con artist's yacht.

In the photo above, the con artist in question -- Brian Kolfage -- is on the left. I don't know if that's the yacht in question behind him. His friend wearing the necktie is Kris Kobach, a Kansan politician of some renown.

These accusations even have some people in the world of academic philosophy saying that instructors in that world should try to avoid teaching Searle's views. That is an odd contention, and has given rise to heated exchanges in certain corners of the blogosphere.
