God bless you" is a polite response to a sneeze in the American English vernacular.
May "God bless antihistamines," then, by the same token as he blesses sneezers.

As best I understand it, histamines are naturally occurring substances that are irritants. Some of us are more profoundly affected by these intruders than are others. *Hay fever* sufferers are one common example. When countermeasures, ANTIhistimines, were developed, it was good news for the chronically respiratory impaired. A drugstore brand helped me recently, although I still have lingering effects of the bout with coal miners' cough...
